Sintered Stone
Ardora
Black slate, split face and fine vein.
Ardora (ar-DOH-rah) is an intense black field with the cleft character of split slate, crossed by fine pale veining that keeps the darkness from going flat. The surface reads as texture even in low light, which suits it to fireplace surrounds, feature walls, and grounds meant to recede while everything against them sharpens. Black with a working surface, not a void.
